The food offered peope who do not like very spicy food the option to tone it down. The food had such great flavor and was not that spicy. The different offering gave you alot of options. I like the lam dishes most but the chicken dishes are moist and very tender, not like alot of places that over cook the food. I am going back there today for lunch.

The main reason I am writing this review is because I didn't think the other reviews did Tiffin justice. I love Indian food, have tried to make it, have eaten Indian food cooked by Indians, etc... Tiffin does a VERY good job. Generally, I try the Tiffin non-veg specials, with chicken entrees. So I like to get either chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, chicken khali murgh, or one or two others, accompanied by rice, lentil porridge and bread with chutneys (3 kinds) for about 11 dollars. The prices went up recently, it is true, but not so much as to prevent me from going back, needless to say. And I think for what you get, it's still worthwhile. The food is tasty, prepared well, plentiful and hearty. I really can't go there as often as I like, because I am overweight, and I know that the food I get at Tiffin may not be the best for me. Maybe I'll start trying the saag paneer (spinach with Indian cheese.) Service is attentive but not doting. The waiters and I don't always communicate well - I don't really get their accented English, but I've never noticed anybody completely flummoxed, and the menu is relatively small and uncomplicated, so there is not so much that needs explanation. My only complaint is that on occasion, the mint chutney is somewhat watered down. But that is the extent of my disappointment. Sure, it would be great if the restaurant were bigger, but if you can't eat in a spacious family style atmosphere, there is a certain intimacy to the place. It is always impeccably clean, and the fixtures seem brand new. And they will connect tables for bigger parties, especially if you let them know ahead of time. That's been my experience of the place, and I hope this review inspires you to go.

Sorry if I can't specifically name the dishes of food that I ate there but I did go there a few months ago with my nephew, sister, and Mom. The food was absolutely delicisious and I consider myself a huge food critic. It was piping hot, tasty, offering large portions, and had pretty good service. I do wish they would have had a large seating area with more comfortable seating such as booths instead of small wooden tables and chairs. Oh well, overall I recommend this place and can't wait to go back!
