Doesnt get much better than this!
I thought I loved the sushi at To-kai until we went to the hibachi side! It was fun and the food was out of this world! I have been to many sushi restaurants and this is by far the best around! If you have your menu stamped each time you go, you can earn a $30 gift certificate! One of my top 5 restaurants in NE Philly!

Good food!!
I love their food and it always taste so fresh. I love their baked mussels! I am so addicted that I keep going back. Haven't tried the hibachi yet, but it's open now!

Great Japanese Take-Out in the NE
Friendly and efficient staff and quick take-out service. The portions could be bigger, but size-wise it seems to be on par with other sushi restaurants in the Northeast. Very high quality and fresh-tasting fish, however. I've only ever been here for take-out, but I'm excited to go back once the hibachi portion of the restaurant opens.

The only place for sushi
To-Kai is my absolute favorite sushi spot. Everything is always fresh, presented in the most amazing and creative ways. I've turned more people on to this place in the last year and they all love it. I have nothing negative to say about this place. The service, food, and quality are outstanding.

BEST sushi I have ever had...no lie!
This is by far the best sushi place I have ever been to. I used to frequent Makiman in the Northeast, and while I love it there as well, To Kai has far exceeded my expectations on quality sushi. It is so fresh it literally melts in your mouth. I also have been to a bunch of sushi places downtown and even to some in Vegas, and this is my favorite. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. Presentation of your food is incredible! I have nothing bad to say about this place. A must go!

Highly Recomend!!!
I have been to sushi restaurants in the city and in the NE and this is by far my favorite place. They have a wide variety of different foods. The service is always great and quick. The fish is always fresh and just plain delicious. I absolutely love this place and I highly recommend it !

best of the best
i've been to a lot of sushi restaurants in the city, but this is my favorite. They have all types of sushi rolls for different preferences, i for example, dont eat crabs, so they have like 10 varieties of sushi rolls without rice, that just taste amazing, the presentation is awsome as well as the place itself very unique and modern., we go there every friday. my friends live in the city so they go all the way to NE just to eat these sushi.
