Since I first moved to N.E. Phila., I've been going to Tony's for over 40 years. Even back then, Tony's was a local legend in the neighborhood. The quality & consistency of the food, the friendly service, family atmosphere, the relaxed ambience makes Tony's Restaurant an original Philadelphia classic. And the prices make Tony's a real sweet bargain, especially in today's economy. I no longer live in Philly and have to drive 30 minutes to get to Tony's, but it is well worth it. The authentic Italian tomato pies are so good that my mouth starts watering before I get there to eat. After eating, even though I'm full, I always order 2 tomato pies to take home because I know that I will still be craving for more later on. Tony's tomato pies are addictive, but it's the kind of addiction that's good & healthy for you. Over the years, I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the Philadelphia area. Out of all these fine eateries, Tony's is the one place that remains as the constant "North Star" of restaurants that always draws me back because I'm guaranteed a great meal in a warm & welcoming setting.

Tony's is a family place were new and old freinds gather. The tomatoe pie can't be beaten by anyone. I am the second generation customer and now my kids are the 3rd generation customers. People move away but alway's come back to Tony's!
