I have lived in my neighborhood for 5 years now and this is still my favorite place to go. Nice atmosphere and great pizza, pasta, & sandwiches.

My family stopped in for a quick snack while visiting Philly for a graduation. Pizza was not greasy like other restaurants. Cheese was much better grade. Crust was thin as I like it, but not too crispy. We had pies that were homemade and fantastic! Tiramisu and cheese cakes were melt-in-your-mouth delicious!! The owner is very friendly!

Went in on a Monday around 6:15 ordered the Meat Lasagna and a side salad. I was the only person in the restaurant. It took 45 mins for my order and then went back to the hotel. The salad was the best thing in the meal. I have had frozen Lasagna that was alot better. I did hear the pizza was good but this was a true disappointment.

The pizza is very good. I wish they were open more on the weekends though. One side note. Do not put Mozzarella sticks on a bed of lettuce before you deliver them. The hot mozz. sticks heat up the lettuce and it steams the sticks making them soggy. Keep it dry and you will have crispy sticks.

Food: The pasta with mariana sauce and meatballs were very good with a moderately thick flavorful sauce. The salad had varied and fresh ingrediants. The bread was toasted before any butter was put on it making it dry and slightly burnt. Service: There was only one waitress serving the dining room when it was half full. She showed excellent hustle. Atmosphere: Slightly upscale for a pizza place with a positive eneregy orange color scheme, better quality wood finished booths and some decorative touches on shelves along the walls. The oldies radio music was a little loud. A large flat panel TV played sports silently along the top of one wall. My thoughts: I will return to try the great vaiety of personal pizzas on the menu. Though there are many Italian restaurants in the city this one combines variety, good price and a handy Center City location.

You can't get a better NY-style pizza in Philadelphia. Airy, chewy, perfectly browned crust. Tasty sauce and cheese like you would expect on a Manhattan pie. All the standard toppings, in generous but not overwhelming amounts. Also, the prices are absurdly low, especially considering the supremely high quality. And delivery is fast and reliable. Eating in is perfectly pleasant as well. Oh, and the spinach salad rules.
