Good food you can count on!

Been here over a dozen times. The food is good and you can count on there being something delicious to eat! Come and try it for yourself!

    not good

The place is tired, the staff is rude, the food is not good, and it is overpriced. The owner needs to clean up and roll up his sleeves vs let a line of customer stand at the door. RUDE MAN must be where is unprofessional staff get their skills . Never been treated more rudely. This neighborhood needs a real diner, real value and real service.

    disappointing

Tried this place a couple of times. First couple of times, food was subpar and overpriced. Final time - poor food again, and waitstaff was unfriendly and unprofessional.

    Not bad, but....

Not quite a "real" diner. Great glitzy neon, love the restored trolley, but it's really mostly a cinderblock building with a small older diner grafted onto the front. The food is unexceptional, the ambience is OK if your kids are as noisy as all of the other ones--again the front diner section is more desirable than the side which is always very loud. The place seems to have slid downhill a bit since it opened, and there's no more salad bar. The wait staff is generally enthusiastic but a tad unprofessional. I'd be enthused about the planned deli if I weren't a vegetarian. Most of the selections seem to be a bit pricier than you'd expect at most diners.

When I want to pig out

When I want to pig out and eat comfort food, this is where I go. Portions are ample. The food is generally cooked and presented well. Wait staff is courteous and obliging. Try the Sunday brunch.

    Nope

nope. Tried 3x. They are constantly out of food on the menu & don't tell you until 25 minutes after you've ordered. Wait time for food is too slow....way too slow for a diner atmosphere. Food is poor quality; the pie crust was charred in one occassion & they still served it. My waiter was extremely young and didn't know what a "side salad" was or that people could order a grilled cheese sandwich with a tomato on it. Nasty place, dirty, loud and noisy. Never again. Tried 3x. Taco bell is better!
