A friend brought me here and let's just say I fell in love with Umai. Great starters, great rolls and great atmosphere. Oh! it's also a BYO. HIGHLY recommend.

The Best Roll Ever
Anyone who loves sushi needs to try the Eternal Sunshine roll. When you read the ingredient list, you think, 'this can't possibly work.' But it does and then some. This is easily the best sushi restaurant in Philadelphia.

Overall, I think Umai offers a nice menu selection, however, I think it is a little pricey considering today's economy. I also gave the chef a complement and felt that it wasn't that important to him. In addition, I

if you have a chance of going soon, have the tuna slider. it is out of this world. the design rolls are so good. it is a little pricey but every now and then its nice to treat yourself.

This place is so good- I am addicted! The Philadelphia roll and beef and tempura shrimp roll are amazing, and the seafood paella is by far the best seafood dish I have ever eaten in Philadelphia.
