    Great Place for Celebrating

Celebrated our daughter's graduation from Temple on May 14th. Best Sushi we ever had. Service great. Highly recommend the Godzilla Roll and the Oyster Shooters. Being a BYO was a real plus too

    Great sushi

Best sushi in Philadelphia by far. Size of rolls really vary, but all really excellent. Appetizers are small, but extremely tasty.

    The best in the city

I have tried all the sushi places in town and Umai is the best hands down. You will be pleased with anything you try. The fish is the freshest available. Service- spectacular! make reservation if possible!

    So yummy!

I've had sushi in many places and this by far is the best! I fear writing this review will prevent me from readily getting a table

Umai Umai the name tells it all

The best in the city period. We did all the sushi places in the city. This one is a gem and is the best alternative to Morimoto if you can't afford it in a regular basis (we can't). Friendly atmosphere, fresh fish. Don't look further just go there and enjoy it. In addition the Buddah Bar music adds a little flavor...

    Our favorite sushi place.

It's a great find in the Art Museum area, a solid byo, with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. We are regulars, going almost every week.
