Loud, rude, subpar food, and expensive food.

From the second we walked in the door, we were accosted with poor attitude and anything but hospitality. The hostess was rude and off-putting - one of the people at my table asked a question about the menu and she quickly retorted that "maybe she should ask her server when he comes over to her." The server was the only saving grace in the whole situation, the only glimmer of mediocre service in the whole place. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar initially, as there were not enough tables for our party. We were starving and had planned to eat there, as we had enjoyed meals in the past. But, as I hope I'm making very clear this meal was far from enjoyable. The bartender was absolutely rude. It took her five minutes to ask us for our drink order, which she did not get right. After that, we had to wait about ten more minutes to place our dinner order, when she came over and barked, "You guys ready to order yet?" After we ordered some people at our table left and we wanted to sit with our friends (the people we came there with to begin with) so we asked the bartender if we could have the food sent to the table, which was about 10 steps away from the bar. You would have thought we asked her for her first born child! Once she was done huffing and puffing she says, "Well you need to close your check with me now!" The whole thing was just appalling. The food came out at a reasonable time - despite the fact that the bartender ran it over to our table and practically threw it in our faces- and tasted great, just as we had remembered. And, as I said, our server was pleasant and attentive. One suggestion to the management - staff your restaurant appropriately and give the staff some adequate customer service training. The way we were treated last night is absolutely unacceptable.
