Vietnam used to be a standard place we went to, largely to bring relatives and friends who don't tolerate anything but standard American fare. They had lovely grilled meats and basic Vietnamese standards. However, the last 4 times we have been, the food was absolutely not good - we kept going hoping it was a fluke. The meat tasted like lighter fluid, and there was no seasoning beyond sugar and hot sauce. I ordered a soup which turned out to be entirely paprika and lemon juice, with frozen defrosted chicken floating around.

This place is one of my favorites in the city as far as the food of Bietnam goes. Don't get me wrong, the Bhan mi places around Washington Ave have a place in my heart but this eatery extends beyond the sandwhich and pho and dives onto tasty roasted meats and exotic rice and noodle dishes! The BBQ platter is a nice place to start, order it with a friend and try it with a stiff and unique cocktail!

The best vietnam restaurant in philly! The food out of the world, friendly service and fast. I wouldn't try any other vietnam restaurant.

I've been here many times and the food is excellent. It's my favorite spot in Philadelphia!

We have been regularly eating here for over 11 years and still love it! We both cook and come from the restaurant business so I can say with certainty this place is consistent and wonderful. The wait staff is very efficient and there is almost no turn-over. The My Tho noodle soup is fabulous, are most other things on the menu. The ingredients are always fresh, delicious, and top notch, and everything is put together with a skillful hand. Highly recommended!!

Great Vietnamese food. The servings are large and not too expensive. The vermicelli bowls are awesome. Service is fast. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant, and I eat here quite often.
