Well worth trying
We're regulars at Wild Rice and always enjoy the interesting dishes and mellow atmosphere. The Vietnamese pho soup is particularly good. Service can be sluggish at times but is always friendly and attentive.

Half good, half bad
I went to Wild Rice with my girlfriend for a Friday night date night. She wanted to eat here because she's a vegetarian and Wild Rice is very vegetarian friendly. She had the General Tso's Tofu which was actually great. I ordered the Mango Chicken and was severely disappointed. The chicken was flattened and dry, there were a totatl of 4 tiny mango slices, and the entire dish was drenched in brown sauce. Everything tasted like brown sauce. It was one of the worst dishes I've ever had. Wild Rice is hit or miss.

very pleasantly surprised
I've heard mixed reviews about this place ever since I moved to KOP. Went with a friend the other day for an early dinner, we each decided to stick with just one sushi roll and added a couple egg rolls for an app. To begin with, while granted we were basically the only patrons, service was incredibly excellent. Obviously while it was slow, everything was super quick and timed perfectly. But our particular server was so nice, asked questions when we were having trouble deciding which of the delicious items to get and told us why certain things were his favorites. He checked back while we were eating and asked each one of us if we liked this and that. Seemed like he really cared. About the food, what we had was EXCELLENT. The sushi roll that I had is not on the menu printed on this site, and unfortunately I forget what it was called. It had crawfish as the main ingredient and the sauce was unfreakingbelievable. I literally would have bought a gallon of it and eaten it with a spoon. My friend got a creative version of an eel/avocado with other things kind of roll and it was very fresh and delicious as well. As far as atmosphere, it was decorated very nicely, and the entire feeling was very peaceful inside. Can't wait to go back.

Very Good Chineese Food
My husband and I were in the mood for Chinese food recently and we decided to give Wild Rice a try. We pass by from time to time. To be honest my expectations were far exceeded. We ordered shrimp and chicken fried rice with shrimp egg rolls and all were delicious. We also tried the steamed pork dumplings and they were very good as well. Formerly living in Philadelphia, I had my pick of the litter for very good Chinese food. I have to say that Wild Rice is right up there with the best of the best of Philly. I have only sampled a few [select]ions (mind you quite a few times :), each time was a very enjoyable meal and experience. So far we have just tried take out. Some may disagree but I think that their fried rice is better than P.F. Chang's. I only wish they sold egg foo young and lo mein but I guess you can't offer everything being a restaurant that also serves Thai and Japanese dishes. If they did offer these choices I think that I just might be their #1 customer :) Overall, great restaurant: good food, good service and nice atmosphere= worth a try :)

I've had better
I know that I'm pretty picky when it comes to Asian food, but I was quite disappointed with the takeout I got from Wild Rice. The quality of the food was simply not what I expected and definitely not what I read in the reviews on this website. The sushi was mediocre at best and the other dishes were salty but otherwise bland

fusion never tasted better
I've been down to most of the chinese restaurant and somehow fusion never appealed to me although I've tried it on occasions. But 'Wild Rice' really hits it off well with everything. Whatever they've d it was bud-tantalising. Kung pao chicken is still the best., hot and sour soup was just right although you might like it the first sip eventually you start tasting the true flavour. Desert hits up the top list, it's the vanilla raboile cheesecake, I just can't get over it. Service was very good and I was informed the menu is changed with a better cook. So I would definitely recomend it any time. Not like your typical chinese restaurant. But worth the money.

Not your typical Chinese takeout.
Sick and tired of the same old run-o-the mill chinese food with that same old (where's the real meat at?) food. This is by far the best takeout I've ever been to. I'm not just talking about Chinese food I'm talking about everything across the board.
