$25 pp Brunch/Lunch Entree + unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary Bar!

My boyfriend and I were searching for a new brunch spot. We go to New Wave a lot and we like their food and bloody marys there, but they don't run ANY specials and our bill is regularly $60+ for food and 2 drinks each (outrageous). We read the reviews for the Wishing Well and based on that we tried it out, and we LOVED it. $25 per person gets you any entree (brunch or lunch) plus unlimited mimosas or DIY bloody mary bar from 11-4 PM! (Last call at 3:45) You can switch back and forth as much as you want, and sort of fun to make your own drink. Also, they have outdoor seating (which is always good for us dog people) and the staff was very nice. We had a great time. New favorite brunch spot in the city for sure.

Disappointing but would proabaly go again anyway

A lot of IPAs is great for me but might not be good for you. Taps offered a limited variety of styles; the bottle list was good. Wishing Well boasts "not having any light beer," which is a little too pretentious for a unimpressive and cheaply decorated gastopub. In their situation sometimes you need to opt for beers that will be crowd pleasers, rather than pretenciousness. Furthermore, the bartender majorly lacked beer knowledge in his descriptions as well as his recommendations to customers. If you're going to have amazing beer on tap then know about them! As for the food; it was good. The homemade mozarella sticks were tasty, and the caeser salad was a nice twist on its boring ususal. It consisted of the lettuce, poached egg, croutons, and anchovies with garlic dressing. Unfortunately the menu spoke nothing about the salad including slivers of anchovies on the salad, which would be a problem for non fish eaters. Not only are menu items inconsistant with the actual dish, the online pricing is different from the actual resturant. Overall, I'd proabaly go back cause it's close and I like good beer, but the expectation is unsatisfying once you go.

Nice little corner spot - Great for Phillies & Flyers games! 2 big TVs and when I was there, had the Phils on one, and Flyers on the other. Great beer list, and exceptionally priced! I had the Pabst Blue Ribbon steamed Mussels and the Tuna Burger. Wow. Talk about flavor - both of these dishes are bursting with it. The mussels have a great hint of lemon behind the beer broth with some capicola ham. The tuna burger - served rare - had a soy sauce glaze and a spicy mayonnaise sauce with it. The Peanut Butter Pie was awesome, as well!

    "Wishing" you had Character

I was looking forward to the Wishing Well- The neighborhood needs a place to grab a beer and a good burger. I was "Wishing" the Well would offer more... Beer menu: Typical. Atmosphere: Looked like Pat Bambino's- tacky. Food: Slim menu. Not that good. Fried Okra was subpar. The scrapple burger was a turn off.
