i'm very critical of chinese restaurants but i decided to be brave and go with the reviews i read.. Szcheuan Shrimp - pretty good ... shrimp seemed fresh .. nice amount of heat some fresh diced veggies thrown in with sauce... enjoyed it hot and sour shrimp - not the best i ever had but had a nice flavor .. could of used some more mushroom or something... shrimp with broccoli.. eh NO FORTUNE COOKIE! or soy sauce

I've been to Wokano three times before for take out and eat in food. The last 3 times, the food was wonderful, if not a little pricier than your average Chinese restaurant that delivers. That was about a year ago. I went back for some take out and it was not good! I ordered pan fried dumplings, Hunan beef and watercress sauteed with garlic. Instead of the light, delicate dumplings that I remembered, what I got this time were doughy, leaden things with a filling that was unidentifiably tasteless. Hunan food is usually hot and sour, but the Hunan beef I got was a mess of overcooked vegetables, tasteless meat and a sweet but otherwise flavorless, gelatinous sauce. The watercress was watery and tasteless as well, as if it was steamed, and the white flecks of what should have been pungent garlic were more like styrofoam, in taste not texture. All that for $25.00 - definitely overpriced for something of the quality you'd get at one of those corner "Chinese" restaurants that sell you take out only from behind bullet proof glass.

If you are looking for good value with great taste, Wokano is the place to go. Dim Sum something everyone must try. It's a sampling of different types of appitizers especially their Shrimp Shui Mai. Dim Sum is served daily and also have great dinner special! EVERYONE MUST TRY!

This is one of our kids' favorite restaurants. The food is pretty good and authentic. The lighting is bright and the interiors are new and spacious. They serve Dim Sum daily, but I have to say that the quality is much better on the weekends. This is a good Chinese restaurant for adult tastes, and the kids find it an inviting place to dine. Try it!
